Can you believe I’m 41 and just went to my first baby shower? It’s not that I’ve never been invited, I just have never went.
We met Team Honeybunnies through geocaching and their first baby is due in May. I know the baby bunny is due around the same time as Karmyn’s and I am anxious to see if either baby decides to enter the world on May 24th, my anniversary.
I'll be 51 next week and I avoid them like the plague. As always, nice
photos.
Dare I say at 64 I have never been to a baby shower or any other sort of
shower; it's not something we are big into here. We tend to give presents
once the baby is born.
in my 20's it seems like all i did was go to weddings & baby showers. they
have slowed down a bit! nice pics... as usual!
Well - if history serves - she is going to beat me. I wouldn't mind the
24th - a Saturday this year. Good day to have a baby. (I wouldn't be
asking anyone to take off work to come watch my children while I'm in the
hospital!)
Was it all you hoped for and more??
Didn't anyone ever throw one for you or when Tristan was born. Hard to
believe. At 63, I don't know any preggers girls other than casually. I
probably won't be included in another baby shower until my grandkids have
kids. A long time from now.
I have to admit the last one I went to was lots of fun. I never had one for
any of my kids either.
You're only 41? With the way I've heard you talk in the past I figured you
were at least 50.
Oh wow - your first ?! I just love that diaper cake Lisa!
That diaper cake is too cute. I've been to a few baby showers and usually
enjoyed them. For some reason I abhor wedding showers but baby showers I
like LOL
Your first baby shower? How can that be?? Are you sure it's your first
ever? Some people (especially first borns) attend them in utero!
What a huge diaper cake! I've never seen one so BIG! HAHA!!! LOVE the
card...How to raise parents! Sure they make a card for babies....where's
the book on how to raise kids??
The only babyshowers I've been to were the two of mine, and the two my SIL
had. I'm with Chris B, I'd rather visit after the baby is born, and visit
with the mother and baby, plus you don't really know for sure if it's a boy
or girl, and I'd hate to have the MOM return her gifts for blue or pink,
and yellow/green aren't my favorite colors.
Wow, your first one. I have been to quite a few. They can be fun in the
right crowd. I am not to thrilled with the games, but the food is usually
good:-).
