Nekked Lizard Adventurers think I’m special and bequeathed me with this neat award proving I am still alive. Thanx NLM & NLL. The winter has seemed to drag on but I am indeed a survivor.

Why do I keep my toothbrush and hairbrush in the same drawer?! I always end up picking hair out of my toothbrush. Ewww!
How does my dog curl up into a ball with her tail touching her nose and not get a tickly, itchy nose? But if I lightly touch her ear hair she will shake her head like it tickles.
And why does my other dog have a hair fetish? He always demands to smell my hair when I get out of the bath, then rubs his face and snorts. I should smell good! He will do this to anyone sitting on his level. He places his paw on your shoulder and sniffs and roots around in your hair then he’s off rubbing his face and snorting on the floor. What the hell?!
Back to business, somebody (please tell me who) bestowed this Excellent award on me. It was a couple of weeks ago and I cannot remember who did it. Please tell me if it was you so I can linky love you. I’m old and forgetful. Yes, that’s my excuse!

I would like to pass it on to a few couple of people I know IRL who blog a little. They don’t update daily like us addicted people, but it always makes my heart flutter when I see a new entry in bloglines. Maybe we can entice them to post more frequently. That’s my plan anyway.
Gwyn is a storyteller and teacher, she loves birding and geocaching, she actually has two blogs:
Michele is a mommy blogger, her two little ones leave her little time to jump online:
That’s my entire list of blogging people I know, have had lunch with, hung out with, met their spouses, etc. Is that sad? Why do some entire families blog yet I cannot seem to get anyone else in my family hooked? What can I say to my mom, son, daughter. . . to convince them that blogging is a huge part of life they’re missing out on?
You have actually met more bloggers than I have...I have met NONE! No one
in my family is the least big interested...no matter how much fun I tell
them it is...If you get some good pointers, pass them on to me, would ya?
Everyone thinks it is a complete waste of time! I'm pretty much the only
one on the computer in my ENTIRE family...with the exception of my
daughter...who spends what little freetime she has on Facebook.
Ah yes blogging and taking photos, that's the life :-)
My daughter has blogs but never writes, my mother won't even get a
computer, the boys only want to play on myspace (ugh!) and DFH thinks I
live in a world of imaginary friends.
It took Frannie a while to get me hooked on blogging but now that I'm
here...I love it! I really don't have any "REAL LIFE" friends or family
that blog! Just Frannie and all of my new blog freinds that I've met here!
I have four dogs, so I have a theory about tails and noses. Poochie noses
are not sensitive to touch. Does your dog propel it's nose into the dirt
because it has discovered some wonderful new smell?
Ears OTOH, have lotso hair, and like doggie whiskers, are very sensitive to
touch for safety purposes.
I have personally tested this - no animals were harmed because I used me -
I touched the hair on my nose and it didn't tickle. I touched the hair in
my ears and immediately went into convulsive laughter.
I will continue to study your other observation and report back forthwith.
I haven't met any other bloggers, except my daughter Carrie. She's the
reason I started blogging, we live on different coast. I always worry if
she doens't post regularly, usually it means she's having a problem, rather
than she's busy.
Dog's sense of smell astounds me. My dog can smell lotion a mile away -
put a little bit on your hands or legs and he's gotta be in there licking.
Congrats on the awards!!! I've yet to meet any bloggers in real life, but
I'm hoping to sometime soon! As far as getting your family to blog? I
don't know, I just finally got mom to get interested, and I'm so glad she's
blogging, it makes it so fun! But I couldn't tell you how I did it,
because I'm not sure. haha
Congrats on all that bling! And I agree, you DEFINITELY deserve that burn
out award after surviving THIS winter! OY VE.
I got that first award too, and I am not savvy enough to get it on my post.
I should try harder and ask Sirdar, if we ever end up in the same room
together.
I need to do like ten comments to get you grooving! Congrats on the bling.
You are truly deserving.
