If you know a woman going through cancer do you know about the Lydia Project? If you go to that link you can request a tote (Faith, Hope or Love) for free.
Also, a reminder about Chemo Angels if you know someone going through chemotherapy or if you would like to volunteer. Not only did I have angels while undergoing chemo but I am on my second buddy. My first buddy graduated a month or so ago and I just started a new buddy last week. It makes me feel really good inside to be able to help in some small way.
A blog friend of mine, who also happens to live in the same city and we
have mutual friends, passed away last Friday of cervical cancer. She was
28 years old. I know you have talked about Chemo Angels before and I wish
I would have remember this when she was going through it. She was
diagnosed last April and only lived 9 more months. And leaves her husband
and 2 year old daughter.
Thank you for the reminders of what is out there for helping those in need.
My MIL had a breast removed in April and we think she is doing pretty good
(she wouldn't tell us otherwise). It is wonderful there are organizations
out there to help people and I have read about ChemoAngels on Joy's blog.
i didn't know about the lydia project or chemo angels. i am going to read
them. it sounds like a wonderful way to support.
my mom is a breast cancer survivor.
