Day 175 ~ More fun

We have light in the living room, kitchen and hallway now.  The pantry jamb switch works great!  When you open the door the light comes on and when you close it the light goes off, just like the refrigerator.  :)  I only have 3 walls left to put the thrid coat of paint on and we have went through 15 gallons so far.  But the area I'm working on is about 700 sq feet, which equals a lot of walls and wall space.  Dennis is trying to get the upstairs bathroom, laundry room and sunroom ready for texture so I can paint those rooms this week.  We got the material for our detached garage delivered Friday so at some point we'll have to throw it up too.

Some of our time has been taken up these last few days with Mikal.  He got the settlement from his car wreck and it was better than we feared it might be.  They did total his car but he got enough money to buy another and then he's going to try to repair the Celica as he's able.  The Celica doesn't get around real well in the winter up here (which lasts 9 months).  So we went to Eau Claire with him today to look at a '91 Blazer.  He bought it, was a good deal, needs some body work but should get him by for awhile.  And I won't have to drive him to school this winter because there's an inch of snow.  :)  The Celica has racing tires on it, low profile Kumos (sp?) and this Blazer is 4X4.
