Haden enjoyed standing in it. As the clouds moved in quickly, the pellets changed to actual flakes.
Literally two minutes later:
Yesterday many people questioned Old English Cheese and since I could not find a photo online I just went out and got some.
We simply mix the Philadelphia Cream Cheese and the Old English Cheese (generally found near the Velveeta), then dip a cracker and enjoy. Put leftovers in the fridge.
This time change is really messing with me. I generally sit here in the evening and write my post for the next morning and the last few days I am feeling wiped out by 8 pm! It’s nuts!
Oh by the way, I got my package from the Autumn Swap. Thanx Expat Mom!
Hey, Lisa. I have a girl who's 21, a boy who's 18 and a girl who's 15
tomorrow. I actually went to your grandson's blog first, so I just found
this one this morning. Thanks for stopping by my place.
I love love love love love that first photo. Seriously, it's BEAUTIFUL. I
know I say that a lot (and mean it every time) but this one is just
breathtaking.
That is the same type of cheese my mom used for the stuffing of the celery
except she bought the pimiento or pineapple flavored cheese. Then, of
course, the jars were saved for morning juice.
I'm glad you got your snow albeit not much!! Thanks for posting a picture
of the cheese. That was how I imagined it. I thought it was odd not to be
able to find a photo online! Thank you for taking the trouble to actually
go and buy a jar, just to satisfy our curiosity.
Good thing you had that camera READY! That is so my kind of snow :)
Old English cheese, never heard of it before, but it does sound tasty - I'm
going to try it! I wish it would snow here, but it just started getting
colder, maybe in December and January we'll have some.
Great capture of the snow. Absolutely beautiful. Now, I remember 'Old
English' cheese. My grandmother used to buy it when my grandparents took us
on trips in their camper. Thankyou for going to all the trouble of buying
some. Those are some wonderful goodies. I LOVE Chicken with Mole!
Humm I wonder if that is what was used to make our family's cheese dip
Thanks for sharing...I'm going to try it. Girl I just love your photos!
Ahhhh, so that's what Old English Cheese looks like. Thanks for buying
some and showing us! I may have to see if I can find that here in Atlanta
because your dip sounds yummy.
I just love seeing that snow. I live in Texas - not gonna see much snow.
See ya.
Yay for the snow. It's pretty. I always love your pictures!
Well it's certainly not like any English cheese I know, thanks for posting
the photo.
Yay! You got your snow.
This is the post I kept getting hung up on; now I can't remember my
comment.
Thank you for sharing the cheese and the snow. I am a huge fan of both. And
the pictures up above? Awesome!
Nice swap items. I don't know if I have seen old Engllish Cheese here
either. We do have old English White cheddar. We had snow on the weekend
as well; it lasted longer however, but there isn't much around now.
