Ann is our hostess this week:
I want to hear about a web site and not just about any old web site. I want to hear about a web site that's changed your life. A web site that you can't live without. A web site whose inventor you'd like to see win a McArthur Genius Grant.
Maybe you want to sing the praises of a dating web site for helping you meet your spouse. Maybe the only thing getting you through the dark days of winter is an Internet comic. No story is too big, no story is too small - I want to hear it all on Monday.
I’m happy for a multitude of websites but I suppose I will just show you a few that have changed my life lately. This website gave me hope when I felt all hope was gone, or it at least led me to people who gave me hope.
I used to visit the geocaching website everyday but haven’t as much lately. This seems like a good time to invite the fellow geocachers reading me to tell me your caching name and a city nearby you and I will send you a Wisconsin postcard via the Geo-Post Office. (There doesn’t need to be a geo-post office near you they can be put in any cache.)
And I think my life will be changed the most by this website (still under construction), time will tell.
Now I'm intrigued...is newdae you? and the Mayo Clinic rocks!!!!!!
I wish you the best of luck with the new business! That is SO Awesome! Mayo
Clinic is a great site!
Hey, I recognize that photo in the last website. How wonderful for you. I
look forward to hearing more about it.
I think that last website will definitely be a life changer :o) Lots of
luck!! As for geocaching, I haven't geocached in so long I didn't know
anything about their Geo-post office. Must go check that out!
Gives me moment to pause - the Mayo Clinic - as I remember. But you are
victorious. a survivor.
I don't know this Mayo clinic but if it helps you it must be nice !
Well, first let me tell you, the two photos are super fantastic. And your
websites choices are good ones. I'm sure they WERE and ARE life changing
sites for you personally!!
The Mayo clinic looks a really interesting site. I'd never heard of
geocaching, it looks fun.
Lovely photos too.
Have a good week
Newdae looks great and I can't wait to see it!!
Thanks a bunch!
Newdae looks cool! I'm assuming it's yours?
Wow! It never ceases to amaze me how "things" work. Was wanting to come up
with a new menu for us this week...there it was: Mayo Clinic. AND, had
photography on the brain since I've arrived home...there it was... Thanks.
Lisa, good luck with Newdae. Your photography is very soulful.
You've gotten me interested in geocaching...but I've yet to buy what I need
to do so (have you ever posted on that part of it? hinthint).
Second person with geocoaching I've seen, Mayo Clinic is a great site.
Lisa I know you will do GREAT with your new business ! Your photos are
amazing!
Mayo Clinic has a great site. I hope that your new site really is
lifechanging for you!
OOH, good luck with the new business. Having seen the photos you take and
post on here (including the ones with this post), I have no doubt it'll be
a rave success!
That is some wonderful sites. Gosh, I found so many links today I have
never of. Thanks for sharing.
You must keep us posted about Newdae. The Mayo clinic site is interesting I
was looking up info on psoriasis. and I enjoyed the sections on healthy
eating.
This fun monday has led to loads of new sites to read...just when I'm
trying to cut down!
Great post. I'm interested in the photography one. (Having recently had my
life changed by a photography site - http://www.petercox.ie - I should have
written about that one instead :))
Lisa, is newdae you? I am so happy for you if it is, you are a fabulous
photographer & I enjoy all of your pix! Early congrats!
I'm loving all the picstures!!!
The mayo clinic is a great place for information. Great websites. Thanks.
i swear, i am going to have to check out this geocaching thing. i think my
husband will totally dig this!
Newdae is my husband and I, although it's him with all the professional
experience I feel comfortable giving it a go now. It's taken me some time
to get comfortable behind the camera and develop an eye but I think I'm
finally there enough to be there with him. Also, as a little test, to see
if people read the comments, I got a new camera too.
I've always toyed with trying out geocaching but not yet found the time to
try it. I really should make more effort!
interesting--the site under construction looks like it may be a good one
;-)
Lisa, I'm so excited for you with your photography site! Have I told you
my dad has been a professional photographer for over 40 years? I love
photography, but I'm no good at it.
Great sites - you definitely picked life-changing ones! Interested to see
more of the photo site, too!
