Near Winter Park, Colorado.
UPDATE: This photo was not photoshopped, I saw several of these coming into Winter Park, along the main road. It does look like the hoop is a sticker of some sort.
Hey, today is the 50th Anniversary of the hula hoop!
I wonder why.... :P
I am so bad at hula hooping that I would never be able to cross that road!!
What a strange sign. That would be funny to drive up on.
Very strange indeed! I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it...
How bizarre.
yeah... I hear that hula hooping while crossing the road is really big in
Colorado (????). What a great sign!
i don't know if i'll be allowed to take the trail/road --- i'm not that
good in hula hooping... it's really weird:)... maybe it's some sort of
warm-up for some hula dance or Hawaiian festivity at the end of the trail
:)
how weird is that...! :)
I totally want that sign!
Must be a nice area of town, lol.
Bald men hoola hooping while raping the landscape of trees?
What. Does. It. Mean?!? These signs kill me!
Actually I too am wondering what the sign means?! Nice scenery.
Oh my! This is way too cool.
Is that all there is to too up there in those hills of Colorado? Makes me
really glad I live at the beach!
That is great! LOL
I realized the other day that I cannot hula hoop anymore. Such a sad
thing. :-)
It reminds me of these great signs in Prague that are for "children at
play" - they've got this house and children and parents...and I think even
a dog.
What a funny sign! I’m laughing so hard as I type I have to stop and fix
the typos. Thanks for brightening my day! LOL I love the red tulips in
Tuesday’s post as well. Mine’s up at Small Reflections this morning, but
also shared some photos on my other blog at Sacred Ruminations this weekend
on Sunday. Would love to have you visit either (or both) if time permits
;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I love unusual roadside signs, and this one is no exception! Very good!
LOL that is great and very unique!
LOL! must be a lot of hoopers in CO :D
That's great! What a riot. It's been years since I've been up to Winter
Park, but I sure didn't see that sign. :D
I can't believe that you found that. What a hoot!
hahahhaha! that's funny! Maybe it is a rope - reminder when you go hiking
esp climbing the mountains in Colorado! :P
Wow, that's great. Perhaps they thought no one would ever see it?! Thanks
for posting it - and for visiting my blog!
Maybe it's a little photo shop action? It's funny! Happy WW and thanks for
stopping by.
That is very strange. I can't imagine the purpose of the sign.

Hooping is growing.. in popularity again. ..with larger hoops that are
easier to spin. Not just for kids.. adults need to move - & I have taught
adults who thought their hooping days were over.. or adults who have never
been able to hoop before-- It is a form of dance.

That's a funny sign! Does anyone know what it means?
Hilarious!!
great photos! -Another young fellow BC survivor
looks weird and funny!
Very weird! I have never seen a sign like that!
Ugh!! I can't believe you didn't know what the hoop stands for. It's a
symbol for the band String Cheese Incident. It's not some great strange
occurance. It's simply kids professing their love of the band.
I saw one of these on Monarch Pass this winter! We even turned around to
take a second look.
