Various sights on our route from Metropolis, Illinois to Memphis, Tennessee. Including some memorials - Veterans, Chicken George and Casey Jones. A hawk with a disappointing wire as he took flight. An earthquake lake, couple of historical signs and a night time ride in a carriage in downtown Memphis.

BOY do I feel dumb. I thought Chicken George was fiction..just based on a
real person. You know..one of these days that New Madrid Fault is going to
come back and bite us in the booty..great photos, as always :-)
