The silence was interrupted by barking,
Coming from the kitchen.
There was a monster in our back yard!
He was so brave,
Wanting let outside,
So he could protect me.

He cautiously approached,
Inched a little closer,

The monster hissed,
He barkingly retreated,

Back to the safety of his mother’s arms.
Snake, goose, or cat?
Oh that is so sweet! I have not had much time for blogging this week.
Yesterday I went to the country and was rounded up by an extremely large
dog. I forgot my camera, how disappointing. Next time I go, I hope to get
some pictures so I can tell the tale with pictures.
Poor brave doggy.
Lisa, I had to check out the latest photos and see the mice and Brodi for
myself. The photos don't appear on the Lhasa List in digest form. Your
photos are ALL awesome. Someone said your blog is so great and it leaves
one wanting more, which is completely true. I just LOVE it!!
Okay, I give up, what is that thing? No I don't mean that white stuff that
Texan's like me never see, I mean the black lump that Brodie was after.
I worried that no one would be able to tell what it was. It's a black
trash bag the the big winds brought into our yard and then eventually back
out. :)
Too funny! My dogs, who have actually attacked snakes, lose their frickin'
collective mind at a blowing trash bag! Good job, Brodi, protectin' your
mom.
Definitely protecting the home territory. Now that mound of snow could
easily be sculptured into a snowdog!!
HA HA HA!!! Too funny.
I can't tell. What was it? I love how terriers are so protective.
Loved your haiku style telling of your brave brave dog :-)
Happy weekend, Lisa!
Haha... good dog!
How cute! Trash bags are very vicious opponents, aren't they?
hee hee...at least he was trying to be brave!! :)
Hey.. those bags are scary!! I remember one of my cats doing the puffy
back and tail thing at one in the kitchen. I thought at first there was a
burglar or a maniac with a hatchet or something.
Funny how they think there is something alive there and it really frightens
them. They really do have the minds and comprehension of a 2 year old.
How sweet he was willing to go out and then was a little to frightened by
the unknown.
what a brave dog. was it just a bag or was there somethng on the bag?
So so brave...until the thing moves! Too funny.
