But I couldn’t choose. I have been going through the winter blues, will-spring-never-arrive?!-blahs, and haven’t taken a lot of photos. Birds and my grandson have been about the only things able to entice my camera out in the last couple of weeks.
What did you say?
I think he has joined me in my exercise routine. Maybe we can make a work-out video. I just don't think I'm as flexible as the birds are.

Watch out, I’m in a bad mood!
This one reminds me of a lady I used to take care of. I worked in a nursing home, and she was the sweetest little lady, always thanking us for caring for her. . . during the day. But, if you woke her during the night to change her soiled bedding, she had quite a mouth on her. One of her favorite things to say during those times was, "I'm gonna shit on your head!" You could never mention these oubursts the next day or it would make her cry. She didn't remember doing it and I guess if you convinced her that she had, she felt extremely bad. That was way over 20 years ago and I still laugh at the memories of her Jekyl and Hyde.

MeMaw!
If you have ever tried to capture - in any form of the word - a 2 foot tall child running at 60 miles an hour, zigging and zagging, you will see why I consider that one to be perfect. Just look at his little arms and legs! If you’ve ever been wrapped around a tiny finger you will recognize that perfect expression, that pure joy at seeing someone who makes him happy.
Very cool birds and I just could HUG that little guy!!!
I can NOT believe anyone would even consider breaking the rules. How dare
you? **giggle-giggle**
Love the photos but especially love those green frog slippers on that
precious little one.
I love the photo of your grandson (?) He's ADORABLE and I love his
expression. It's perfect in many ways, the best way it evokes emotion. :-)
I wish I lived closer to my grandchildren so I could see those kind of
experessions. Love this!
Ha who worries about rules, you just keep posting these gorgeous photos!
Hmm... breaking the rules wasn't so bad after all =P That last one is
absolutely cuteeee! Perfect!
Aw, the one of your little grandson is my favorite. Grandchildren are the
best.
Yes, I know about photographing those little ones speeding toward you. You
got a rare shot! Birds are a tough subject too. Great shots
Hi Lisa
What a fun entry! I love what you did here.
Cute Photos & captions....sweet little boy!
Great post. Of course, I always love your bird pictures. The shot of
Tristen is great, too. Lots of motion.
I do recognize that perfect expression.
Love the froggy shoes. My daughter (Squamama) would flip over them, she
loves frogs!! I think I got a picture of an osprey this week. I'm going
to post it soon, to see if anyone can confirm. Love your bird pictures!!!
Great birds! They've got personality each. The last is my favorite, the
look, mid step and the swing of the arms are special. Perfect portrait of a
small child.
The bird shots were beautiful but that bottom shot priceless!
I wouldn't begrudge you any of those pictures. They're all great! And
that's interesting about the lady at night. Reminds me of a discussion I've
been having with a few people about telling dreams from reality, and the
way the mind works in certain circumstances. Perhaps when she behaved like
that, she wasn't really awake?
Your little grandson is so adorable! Just so ADORABLE!!
How could you not break the rules and share all! The bird shots are
wonderful, but that last one -- that look is priceless! So adorable! :-)
I loved your bird photo's and the story of the old lady / Jekyl Hyde (sp).
I worked in nursing homes for many years, so can totally relate and can
just hear her saying it... LOL.
Oh! These photos are absolutely spectacular! Great photos, great post,
great blog...as always!
Those bird pics are adorable!
He is BEAUTIFUL! Having a 19 month old around is the primary focus in all
my shots being out of focus! Two speeds: fast and blazing fast! :)
Wonderful stories and funny about that lady, sad for her though; I am sure
she was devastated by her actions.
I love the butt shot of that birdie :D
That IS a perfect picture! He looks in such a rush to get a hug!
Lisa, I love your sense of humor! These are wonderful photos. Both bird and
baby boy are beautiful subjects.
