Isn't it really weird when you're running around doing errands (grocery shopping, starbucks, etc. . .) and you leave your coat at home cuz it feels pretty warm. You're enjoying the sunshiney day and just wearing one layer of clothes, Yippeee! Then you find out that it's 8º F outside? Hey it was -9º when I woke up so 8º feels like a heat wave!
(side note - I finally figured out how to do the degree sign, edit the html and type º right after your number. Cool!)

Wal-Mart sucks! I LOVE that we have self checkouts here so I don't have to deal with the rude cashiers. But I'm a little miffed that today I decided to go through a cashier because I had quite a lot and knew my groceries would total more than $100 (the amount that you need approval for in the self lane). The cashier never said one word to me! Trivial? Maybe, but I felt it was very rude and I wish that they, the powers that be, would replace her with a machine! I even said, "Have a nice day." in a cheery voice as I grabbed my cart and she still said nothing so I mumbled, "No wonder I normally check myself out." Maybe I'm PMSing even though I can't PMS? I have just been feeling very bitchy lately. I hate getting bad service. Does bitchiness come with age?

Lighter note:
The morning after our blizzard, Haden, Dennis and I pulled the car out of the garage and were greeted by a nice little pile of leaves, on top of all the snow that had drifted into the driveway.
Haden - I wonder where all the leaves came from.
Me - I was wondering that too.
*pause*
Me, thinking (It is January, not many leaves left on trees and a good foot or more of snow on the ground, where did they come from?!) - Hmmm, I guess they came off the trees.
Dennis - You guys are brilliant!
*stinking tongue*
If I was met with the sight of the leaves I think I'd be wondering too!
I'm hoping that bitchiness comes with age 'cause otherwise I've got no
excuse! I cannot stand rude people. Manners don't cost anything and they
just make life so much more pleasant.
haha...yeah - I make those kind of OBVIOUS comments too...you know - like
"It's really cold out today" when that's more than obvious because we both
just looked at the thermometer and it didn't even register a number because
it was so cold!
You can also get the ° sign by simply holding "alt" and then " 0176"
The Mac is easy for making the degree sign, it is option K. Sirdar has
told me a million times on the PC it is Control 365. At least I think that
is the number or is 345. I don't know, that is why I don't put them in
when I am on the PC, and edit them in later (except in comments).
Hmmm I don't think bitching comes in age "everyone does it". I will too if
I were you, that cashier sure is rude "must hated her job lol!". 8 degrees?
that is butt freezing to me cant even stand when it get 35 here in Texas,
how much more 8?! I'm sure you wont see me outside the house with that
temperature..lol. Hope you have a nice day!~
Bad service / no service sucks big time.
I had it and it let's me say sarcastic things which usually don't get
received and are wasted energy ;)
But oh well, I am bitchy quite often ;)
Rude cashiers are one of my top pet peeves...I worked retail for years and
if we didn't at the very least greet the customers, we would have been
fired on the spot! The leaves on the snow thing? That's been happening
around here too...it's strange!
I think it's always okay to feel a little bitchy. It keeps people on their
toes.
Hey...your Walmart has self-serve?? Ours doesn't have that yet. Most of
our cashiers at the new Super Walmart are pretty nice. I think they just
like their new digs!
I hate it when a cashier doesn't speak to me. Just a simple "hello" is at
least something. How hard is it to say hello to someone?
One of these days I will be writing a post about my experience with self
check-outs. I've only used them twice now, but.....oiy!!
