About three hours were spent this morning with a Yoga Instructor, teaching us great relaxation moves. I've never done yoga so thought I'd give it a shot. Our instructor almost put me to sleep and in this instance that's a good thing. She willingly helped us one on one with any trouble areas we had and showed us more moves than our little chemobrains can retain. She has been available to us all weekend and I had no idea how much I would enjoy it. I think I'll check into finding a local instructor when I get home. I just hope this one didn't get me too spoiled.
We basically went from yoga to lunch to the spa. The spa was absolutely wonderful! I had never been to a spa before. If you think you can't afford it, think again. From what I understand you only have to book one treatment, any one, can be the cheapest one you see on the list and that gets you in the door. Once in the door you can take advantage of the pools and soaks and relax as long as you want, just soaking in the luxurious smells around you.
I'm too exhausted from my hard day ;) to write a very long entry but I had to tell you about my room. Each time I have entered my room I have been puzzled by the smell that greets me. Dennis has determined it to be new carpet smell but I finally figured out what it reminded me of. . . a hamster cage. You know, the cedar chip smell of a hamster cage. Now I know I said I was as excited as a squirrel and nervous as a chipmunk but I never expected they would put me in a hamster cage. :) As beautiful and spacious as the cage is though, I don't mind.
